Why should my puppy get vaccinated?

Until your puppy has received a series of vaccines, he or she is susceptible to many serious but preventable diseases. When a puppy is born, their mother’s milk provides some antibodies against infections. However, this wears off during their first few weeks of life. We recommend your canine friend get vaccinated, starting at 6 to 8-weeks-old. We will vaccinate your new dog against rabies, distemper, and parvovirus among other diseases. Rabies is a fatal disease that can cause neurological damage. Distemper and parvovirus are viral infections that can cause flu-like symptoms, which worsen overtime.

Are vaccines safe?

Vaccinations are an important part of your pet’s wellness plan through different life stages, starting when they’re a puppy and continuing throughout their golden years. They are safe and highly tested, ensuring your pet won’t have any adverse reactions. Most vaccinations have minimal side effects, including:
