Emergency Care for Pets

It can be scary when your pet has a medical emergency because you feel like you’re not in control. Our veterinary team provides emergency care during our normal practice hours, to support the needs of your pet as they arise. You can expect the same level of care and attention you receive during routine visits when your pet needs us most.

What happens when my pet needs emergency care?

If your pet needs care during our regular hours of operation, you can contact us at 705-522-4555. Our veterinary team will advise you on next steps, like the safest way to bring your pet into the hospital depending on the severity of their illness and injury.

During our off duty hours, emergency care is provided by one of our veterinary colleagues at the Sudbury and District Veterinary Association’s On Call System. To get in touch with them, please contact 705-998-3336. After your pet’s visit, the emergency veterinarian will share the details of your visit with your primary veterinarian, including any important diagnostic test results.
